Super Mario World Odyssey is one of the most famous and ambitious Mario World ROM hacks of the last decade. Not only does it bring the aesthetic of Nintendo Switch games to SNES graphics, but it also brings Cappy's powers to Mario and other gameplay elements.

Unfortunately, it was shut down by Nintendo a few years ago, but ROM hack versions are still available online. It is no longer developed by the original creators, but some derivative versions have been released by others, even after development stopped. In recent years, this project has been instrumental in popularizing the Super Mario World ROM.
