cyndaquil, a type of Pokémon that appeared in the handheld game series "Pokémon" (commonly known as "Pokemon" in China) developed by Nintendo of Japan, first appeared in the second-generation game "Pokémon: Gold and Silver."

Cyndaquil is one of the three beginner Pokémons given by Dr. Soraki in the city capital area to the rookie trainer.

cyndaquil evolved into a flaming rock rat at 14th level, and the latter evolved into a fiery beast at 36th level.

Editing of characteristics: cyndaquil is a small biped Pokémon with light blue hairs on the upper part of the body and creamy yellow on the dark side. cyndaquil looks like a combination of echidna and shrew. The characteristics of the echidna are derived from the flames escaping from the back, and the overall shape is similar to the body characteristics of the shrew. Cyndaquil's eyes are often closed, and the snout is elongated. It has a claw on each of its hind limbs and no claws on its forelegs. Cyndaquil is timid by nature and always shrinks its body into a spherical shape when frightened. It emits flames from the red spots on its back and is used for self-defense. When angry or surprised, the flame on its back burns more violently. Although rarely found in the wild, cyndaquil can be found on the grass.
