Once you have selected the item to upgrade, it will be removed from your inventory. All enchantment points used on items will be returned to you. But it's important to note - the same enchant options available to the original item will be available before leveling up. To level up and retrieve your items, you must complete three tasks of specific difficulty.

The blacksmith will specify difficulty based on the strength of the item you are upgrading. Low-level items in default mode or higher may require three missions, while more powerful items may require you to perform three apocalyptic missions.

After completing the three missions on the specified difficulty, return to the blacksmith to retrieve your upgraded weapon. It will then have a new strength level, depending on the difficulty you recommend for Minecraft Dungeons. This should help you defeat some of your most difficult enemies to date.
